Bridging The Gap

I met an Afrikan American on Facebook, she wanted to view my works and she was shocked by the landmarks in the videos. Next day, my friend calls me and keeps asking "insulting" questions. I overlooked those questions because I knew better not to generalise all African Americans

I met an Afrikan American on Facebook, she wanted to view my works and she was shocked by the landmarks in the videos. Next day, my friend calls me and keeps asking "insulting" questions. I overlooked those questions because I knew better not to generalise all African Americans. Yes, not all of them are gang bangers, drug addicts or Coons.

Our oppressors did a good job breaking us up here at home and they made sure of it that the ones who were stolen never looked back. Here's why;

"A united Black front is our greatest threat. Therefore, we must highlight the differences that exist amongst the differing groups to ensure that they never unify around a common agenda. Pre-existing Petty differences must be intensified whenever an effective coalition appears to be in the making. Afrikan Descendants do a good job of these themselves, but we must make sure that it stays that way.-" Flintstone

Tomorrow, we dissolve a large part of the enmity between the Continental Afrikans and the Diasporan Afrikans. Together we bridge a gap that has been damaged for centuries.
