I think it's safe to say we all really enjoyed Blacktop Wasteland. We had a great discussion on the struggles of fatherhood in poverty and the cyclical nature of violence in the family, and even the hope of community aid in therapy and mental health recovery. This book really got us talking!

For our next read, we are diving into Jackal by Erin E. Adams. This is the story of a town with a horrifying secret. 😱 Children have been going missing in the woods 🌳 for years; all of them Black, all of them girls 👧🏾 .
