Artist Statement
As an Artist, my works generally are inspired by my environment, African aesthetics and old memories. I work hard to produce my paintings, from conceptualization to complement. I do not want to just capture the images with my brushes alone, but also with my choice of colors and creativity,
My painting emphasizes the importance of siblings love, oneness and affection. Despite life’s challenges and difficulty moments, they remain resilient and are always there for each other, my works are reviving and the use of adire patterns are deliberately painted as the background.
