I work primarily with oil on canvas, while also exploring other materials that allow me to fully express ideas and emotions. My work serves as a medium through which I channels deep personal feelings, inner reflections, and shared human experiences. Central to my practice is the recurring use of faceless figures a powerful motif that symbolizes self-reflection, inner dialogue, and the universal nature of human emotions. By removing facial features, I creates space for viewers to project their own identities, emotions, and stories into the work. These faceless figures also represent the fragmented nature of human identity: parts of the self shaped by memory, experience, vulnerability, and healing. Through this approach, I explores the complexity of becoming how individuals evolve through time, emotion, and connection. My works often bridge the relationship between humanity and nature, emphasizing harmony, coexistence, and the quiet beauty found within natural elements. Adegbite Imisioluwa is a Nigerian visual artist born from Oyo State, Nigeria. His artistic journey is rooted in a strong academic and studio-based foundation. He studied Painting at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, where he earned his Higher National Diploma (HND). Seeking deeper artistic growth beyond formal education, Imisioluwa further developed his practice under the tutelage of Prince Saheed Adelakun, a prolific Nigerian artist.
