It all started with a desire to make delicious, smoked meats, cooked low & slow, southern-style.

That desire to cook for the family sparked an even bigger interest when Pitmaster, Cory Davis won a local barbecue competition. Cory also found that his winning cooking process, delectable rub, and sweet BBQ sauce would be a combination people would come to love.
Finally, all that was needed was some hard work and perseverance on behalf of “Mrs. Pete”, Tarra Davis, to bring the business to life with a business & marketing plan, as well as a few delectable side dishes & desserts to bring Daddy Pete’s to life.
