The name, Della J's Delectables, was inspired by my mother, Della, who along with my father, Lee, provided the inspiration for everything I do. I added my own modern twist to some of my mother’s favorite recipes and included a few new favorites, thus Della J’s was created.

I developed my love for cooking at a young age. Over the years I perfected my dishes and shared them with family and friends. I love seeing the look on their faces as they take their first bite from a dish I have created, that alone is worth all the hard work it takes to prepare these delicious foods. I hope you too will experience my food.

My wife, Lydia, the backbone of this operation, has assisted me in the kitchen for years. She is the manager behind our business, from helping me shop, prepare, cook, to handling all of our paperwork.
