In 2005, Edgar’s Restaurant opened at Good Park Golf Course in Akron as a partnership with three managing members including award-winning Executive Chef Glenn Gillespie.

In 2012, Chef Glenn took overall operations and now privately owns and manages the restaurant. Since then, we have become one of Akron’s top fine dining destinations commonly offering live in-house music performances and In 2005, Edgar’s Restaurant opened at Good Park Golf Course in Akron as a partnership with three managing members including award-winning Executive Chef Glenn Gillespie.

We also offer an extensive wine menu, mixed drink list, and bar area.

In 2015, Edgar’s rebranded as the Cornucopia of Culture! Each week, Chef Glen creates a “weekly features” menu involving foods from a variety of countries, cultures, and styles. Patron favorites range from Creole Seafood to Greek Cuisine.

The popular Cooking Classics series was introduced in 2018, wherein guests would serve as an audience to a special cooking demonstration by Chef Glenn, followed by a tasting of every food and drink preparation.
