Hawks BBQ was opened in 1968 on the corner of of 25th & Fairmount Ave. in historic Church Hill, Virginia by Frank and Mary Crawley along with Frank Edward Crawley Jr. (known as Hawk). The trio created our famous homemade barbecue sauce from fresh ingredients and time-honored family recipes.
