Surf & Soul Spot was birthed with love through its founder and Co-Owner Chef Sarajevo Amor in 2019. After a 13 year career with Hyatt Hotels, there being blessed to develop her God-given gift, Chef Sarajevo launched out to create this Soul Food Seafood takeout restaurant with the aid of her Godparents and immediate family. Getting its humble beginnings as Surf & Soul Spot was birthed with love through its founder and Co-Owner Chef Sarajevo Amor in 2019. Getting its humble beginnings as a pop-up in a church kitchen, Surf & Soul has grown to become a culinary favorite, featuring a menu that celebrates black culture with a SoCal flare. It’s “Surf Menu”, Monday-Wednesday, features creative seafood items and the “Soul Menu” Friday-Sunday has more traditional Southern items and our signature Lemonades.
