I’m Adetona Adedamola Ayotomiwa Jamiu, born in November 1994, a Nigeria artist based in Lagos I’m known for my emo-realistic mix medium works [charcoal, graphite, acrylic paints, spray paints etc.] of black skinned subjects that embody the emotions associated with life experiences. <br> A graduate of Building Technology at Covenant University in the year 2018. After graduation I worked as a builder for a while before coming into the Art world fully. <br> I have always been into art has a child, loved playing with clay, biro inks, to create art. Started working on my career in the year 2015 while I was still in university, then all I did was make portraits for people in order to help myself financially. Was awarded for most outstanding artists in school in 2018. Participated in few online art competitions. <br> After graduation I decided to go deeper into art so I started watching videos online, acquiring more art material and practicing every day and night. I love working with mix medium because it gives me more room to express myself has an artist, I work with charcoal pencils, graphite pencils, acrylic paints, coffee, spray paints. <br> I would call my kind of art an Emo-realistic art because I try to depict emotions in every art work, create, all this while I have only been working on paper, moved to canvas 2023 when I took my art career to a professional level. <br> My Inspiration comes from my environment, memories, life experiences [personal/family and friends], what as kept me going is the catch phase I get while praying back in school chapel 2015 which say “Never Say Never For All Is Well\ This as been the key word keeping me which I try to deplore into every of my works, giving hope for a better tomorrow to my viewers who feels down . <br> I’m working towards the point where people who view my works finds peace, joy, the courage and string to move on, not considering what they have been through or passing through.
