I am Tarikoro Tamunofiri Henrietta, a Nigerian visual artist, born and raised in Nigeria. My passion for art began at a very young age, when drawing and painting became my natural way of expressing the world around me. Over time, this passion deepened into a calling, and I chose to pursue it professionally, earning a degree in Fine and Industrial Arts from the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

My practice is deeply personal, rooted in emotions, memories, and lived experiences, as well as the imagined realities of others. I never fail to add a touch of nature when describing or reflecting on my work, because I believe nature carries profound metaphors for human life and healing. Each piece becomes a space for reflection, vulnerability, and connection, inviting viewers to see fragments of themselves mirrored in my art.

For me, art is both expression and healing a lifelong journey of translating introspection into visual form, where every piece becomes a bridge between feeling and meaning, silence and storytelling, pain and hope.

Mission Statement: My art reflects lived experience, memory, and emotion both mine and those I imagine in others. Each painting is an introspective journey, exploring vulnerability, connection, and stillness. I aim to create spaces where viewers find fragments of their own stories.
