Then he shows up to the 1972 World Championship, complains about the lighting, complains about the cameras, forfeits Game 2 because he felt like it, demands to play in a tiny ping pong room in the back, and STILL destroys the Soviet champion.

Then, after reaching peak aura and becoming world champion, he literally just retired on the spot and refused to elaborate for 20 years. Bro unlocked the final achievement in chess, hit alt f4 on his career, and disappeared into thin air. Absolute generational legend.
