Oshodi IV
$9,000.00
Oshodi IV captures the sensory surge, density, and kinetic energy of Lagos’s Oshodi interchange. The vertical composition is filled with hundreds of abstracted human figures, market stalls, and transit vehicles, synthesized into an intricate, vibrating mosaic of textured paint. Broad strokes of cerulean blue, saffron yellow, jade green, and terracotta fight through layers of scraped white and charcoal grey. Anchored at the top by a strip of radiant gold and red sky, the piece transforms urban congestion into a rhythmic, joyful symphony of survival, communal gathering, and unyielding momentum.

Artist Statement
My work explores the urban landscape and the density of mega-cities, particularly the energy of Lagos. Using heavy, sculptural layers of paint that I carve, scrape, and re-apply, I document the vibrant chaos of transit hubs where individual identities coalesce into a singular, breathing communal pulse.
