Passages & Portals
$7,000.00
Passages & Portals is a geometric mixed-media abstraction that investigates architectural thresholds, urban density, and spiritual migration. Structured by a rectilinear black grid, the canvas divides into compartments containing dense discs resembling river stones or cowrie currencies alongside saturated fields of cobalt, ochre, and soft lilac. Slender human silhouettes gather at key openings—most prominently ascending a central vertical corridor toward a radiant celestial orb. By integrating indigenous chevron motifs with modern planar partitioning, the work serves as an evocative visual metaphor for communal transition and collective passage.
