“No” is a word we use entirely too little. But when it comes to setting boundaries, saying “no” is what allows you to create room to focus on what is impactful for you. We shouldn’t feel guilty for not doing more for others when we are barely doing enough for ourselves.

Plan out your “no’s” in advance and figure out what’s most comfortable for you. That way the next time you get an invitation or request that you cannot accept, you can hit them with a “No,” or “I can’t,” or even “Not this time.”
