In the words of Chinua Achebe, Proverbs are the palm oil with which words are eaten, but words when carelessly spoken have the tendency of birthing relationship constipation. Introspection is call to verbal prudence and caution, we all have an inner parrot that seeks to say anything the mind can imagine irrespective of the resultant injuries we might inflict on others afterwards. Through words, the earth was created, through words governments execute justice and equity, on the other hand, through words wars ensue, families are broken, fragile hearted children grow into broken adults, to repeat the same vicious cycle of a world broken by carelessly crafted vocal discharges.

As an artist, I see myself as an emissary of the soul—one who reveals the untapped beauty hidden within its walls. My art explores the simple yet complex journey of self-discovery, with each piece bringing me a little closer to understanding who I am. My goal in creating art has always been to unravel the disparities within my personality and to find meaning in this intricate jigsaw puzzle called life.
I don’t paint merely for fun or aesthetics; I paint as a messenger, a lover, a human, a dreamer, a child—learning a new language, the mother tongue of the human spirit. After all, we are all here to find our individual paths and make our lives count. Painting is the vocabulary my soul uses to tell its story—and perhaps, through it, the world will hear me.
