Painting became a means of protecting my mental state while allowing me to process lived experiences and survival. I see identity not as something forced or constructed in isolation, but as something continuously formed through memory and lived experience. Through painting, photographic collage, and screen printing, I preserve and reconstruct memories. By layering these processes and materials, I create works that feel emotional, archival, and unsettled, much like memory itself.
