About Artisan: Born in Senegal in 1986, of Senegalese parents, Baro Sarrè arrived in France at the age of 2. His artist style can be described as “Afropean” as to be in tune with the current times.

As a child he was always interested in the visual arts. Very early on he was looking for a style that would match to his way of perceiving the world, and his state of mind. Taking multiple emotions from within and turning it into a 6th sense. My sensitivity has allowed me to develop a style that is unique to me today. My inspirations come to me from my African culture, more precisely Ndebeles women (South Africa) who paint their homes with colorful and very graphic shapes, and Picasso, for his way of reworking, decomposing what he paints from what he sees. Lastly, his is also inspired by Egyptian art as well as Impressionism.
