Q7. Do you have a favorite piece or project that you've worked on? What makes it special to you, and what was the inspiration behind it?

My favorite art piece is the one titled “End SARS”. It was inspired by the End SARS protest which took place in Nigeria in October 2020. It is special to be because each stroke of paint told a story of the struggles faced by the Nigerian youth, their dreams for a brighter future, and their unwavering resolve to create a just society. The art served as a visual testament to the power of collective action and the importance of raising one’s voice against injustice.

It became a symbol of hope and solidarity for social justice movements around the world. The End SARS paintings were a reminder that art could be a catalyst for change, inspiring people to unite, stand up for their rights, and work towards a more just and equitable society. Years later, even after the protests subsided, the spirit of the End SARS paintings lived on, continuing to spark conversations, inspire activism, and serve as a timeless reminder of the power of art in the pursuit of justice and social transformation
